What is the DODGE County Historical Society ?
Our Mission
The Dodge County Historical Society (DCHS) is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and disseminating knowledge about the history of Dodge County and its relation to the history of the State of Minnesota.
Extraordinary Experiences
The Dodge County Historical Society runs the museum open to the public during the summer with numerous exhibits and research archives.
The Society also maintains several historically significant structures, including the Wasioja School, the Wasioja Church, the Old Setters House, the Ashland School, and the Wasioja Recruiting Station.
The Society hosts several gatherings through the course of the year, and hosts exhibits for a limited time during the Dodge County Fair at the Log Cabin.
Our Core Values
The Dodge County Historical Society is a 501 (c) non profit. Central to our charter is the preservation of Dodge County History and the teaching of that history.
