Our Hayfield area history project is providing many questions that need answers, and we have people interested in helping to find those answers.
The get-together at Uncle Mony’s Restaurant on March 2 was a success, with 17 people taking part in the discussion. Mony’s owner, Tom Monahan, was a gracious and supportive host to our group.

*The Hayfield maternity home and Annie Nielson;
*The Quonset where two nuns lived;
*A Vernon settlement called Indian Grove;
*Past businesses on Main Street, especially the theater; and
*Tobacco and other unusual crops that were grown.
