WWII Veteran Richard Staub Interview

101-year-old veteran Richard Staub was interviewed on September 19th, 2024, by Tom Gall at the West Concord Historical Society Museum about his WWII experiences. The program was a cooperative effort of the WCHS and the Dodge County Historical Society and sponsored by Thrivent.

Wasioja Seminary Ruins Stabilization

The State of Minnesota, in accordance with the Minnesota Laws of 2023, Chapter 72, Article II, Section 11, has allocated $2.1 million from the General Fund to the Minnesota Historical Society. This grant will be provided to Dodge County for the purpose of completing the stabilization work on the Wasioja Seminary Ruins.
